Liposuction-Liposculpture

Indications

Nowadays it is now possible to remove fat from almost any area of the body to improve its shape and shape. Liposuction (liposculpture) is a procedure that removes unwanted fat from areas that do not respond to diet and physical activity. Liposuction enables us to remove fat from the hips, lumbar, thighs, make the abdomen flatter, to contour the shape the medial surface of the thighs and knees, or to improve the double chin. Liposuction-sculpture has a great and worldwide appeal. It is a completely safe operation with extremely immediate results. Some of the areas that can be treated with liposuction are the following: For women: inside and outside surface of thighs, buttocks, hips, "love handles", knees, tibia, ankles, arms, back and neck . For men: belly, chest, "love handles", neck etc.

Surgical technique

Liposuction begins with the local injection of a fluid containing saline, xylocaine and adrenaline (tumescent technique). This fluid ensures that the procedure is painless and free of blood loss. The plastic surgeon makes tiny incisions (3-4 mm) on the skin and through these incisions inserts special cannulae (thin atraumatic tubes) attached to a vacuum-suction pump. With reciprocating movements the fat is evenly and precisely removed. Also there is the option of liposuction assisted with laser (Bodytite or Renuvion) or ultrasound liposuction with Vaser for much more skin contraction and less postoperative edema and bruising. Liposculpture means that we remove fat from some areas and we could graft it in other areas for enhancment of buttocks (butt brazilian lift), breasts or in any other area for much better contouring of the body. Another relatively new technique is high definition liposuction and abdominal etching for six-pack appearence!!!

Type of anesthesia

Liposuction is a procedure performed by sedation in combination with local anesthesia and always in an organized clinic.

Operation Time

The duration of procedure depends on the amount of fat removed and the number of areas to be treated. In most cases, however, the procedure lasts 1-2 hours.

Stay at the clinic

Liposuction usually does not require staying in the clinic. Usually the patient can leave within 3-4 hours after surgery.

Postoperative period

After liposuction, patients should wear a pressed garment for 3-4 weeks. The pressed garment helps to evenly tighten the skin above the new contour of the body. The swelling and swelling that may occur after surgery in the areas that have been liposuctioned disappear within 2-3 weeks. You may experience slight fatigue in the first 2 days after surgery, especially in cases where large amounts of fat (4-5 liters) are removed.

Back to daily activities

Patients can shower the next day. However, you should avoid bathing and staying in the water for a very long time in the first week, until the sutures are completely absorbed. Unlike other interventions it is absolutely essential for the healing process to remain physically active. You can return to work in 2-3 days.

Results

Patients will see the effects of liposuction and the new outline of their body almost immediately. Swelling and swelling appear but are an integral part of healing and disappear in about 14 days. One month after surgery patients can see 80% of the final result. You will be very happy with your new body shape and will be able to enjoy it permanently as long as you continue to exercise and follow a balanced diet. The local thickness does not reappear, but the high weight gain certainly distorts the end result you had achieved.
